Another lazy day at
sea. Claimed a lounge for myself by MUTS
(Movies Under The Stars for those of you who have never sailed Princess) and
watched Big with Tom Hanks and then Oceans Eleven. In the past I’ve never been a big fan of MUTS
but this trip I am thoroughly enjoying it.
(Except, of course, for the people who sit near you and talk to everyone
who walks by….AGHHH! Go sit somewhere
else!!) It’s great that the onboard
pizza palace is just next to the movie deck…Pizza and a movie…there’s nothing
better. Oh…except the nap that followed
the movie…just wonderful J
While I was
thoroughly enjoying the movies, Bill made another contribution to the casino
gods and just enjoyed wandering the ship.
He’s made great strides on this cruise…trying new foods and now learning
to use my iPad!! He’s discovered that I
have a few poker game apps and that helps him laze the day away....and it
doesn’t cost anything!!
It was our second
formal night on ship…and lobster night.
They were good but very small. In
fact, I’ve noticed that the quantities being given for dinner have gotten
smaller. I guess that’s not such a bad
thing as I imagine so much food gets wasted on board.
Since we didn’t
finish dinner in time to catch the first act of the comedian, we wandered
around and wound up in the casino…and I won $5 playing video poker! Doesn’t take much to make me happy!! Bill hasn’t been having any luck on this
cruise and made another small contribution.
Then it was off to bed. Even on
these lazy sea days, we’re ready for bed.
I think all those touring days have caught up with us.
